  1. Hey Emily--LOVE the new digs. (I may have to find out who your webmaster is!) I think Life Part 2 is so appropriate because we do continue to live after crisis. We are forever changed, forever moved into a different place, a different pair of eyes that see, and heart that feels differently than before. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for you!

  7. Hi Emily,

My name is Jean Dehmer and my kids were students of Chris' at Liberty and I felt priviledged to follow your journey on Caring Bridge. I am excited that you are continuing the 'conversation' on this Blog and would like to follow along. I tried to 'follow by e-mail' by entering my e-mail address in the box and clicking Submit but it didn't work. I got an error message. Any suggestions?

Thank you for continuing to post.

  10. Hi, Emily!

This is so cool. Thank you for being so amenable to God. I am sharing this site with a friend who just lost her husband in a farming accident.

I hope you and Erika have a very Merry Christmas, full of hope. Greet your folks for me too. :o)
    Love,
    Renee Andrews

  11. Hello, dear Emily!
Greetings in our Lord's Name from Michigan's snowy woods. We got your site info from your dad & mom's Christmas letter - and being privileged to enter - even ever so minimally - into your sorrows and hope - fills us with our Lord Jesus' sympathizing love towards you and little Erika. We will continue to remember you in prayer - as we did Chris - by the stubby carpenter's pencils (and even the brand new ones!) - which have brought you all to mind for several years now. May the Master's purposes of glory unfold before your wondering eyes in ways that take your breath away!
    Love, Randy & Debbie Reed

  12. You picked a perfect day for a wedding, I personally celebrate it every year. And, my heart aches every June 21 . In MN it feels like summer has just started and so sad to see the days getting shorter.. I write you today after hearing of Judy passing away. I know this will touch you deeply and I will be praying for you and Scotty as you again mourn someone you loved. Steve was my husband's best man and Judy was like his second mother for the years he and Steve were friends. She left an imeasurable impact here on earth.
